Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These terms cover Snappy Coin Laundry's wash-dry-fold pickup-and-delivery service. When you book a pickup, you agree to them.
Two other pages go with these terms and aren't repeated here: our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it, and our SMS Terms & Conditions, which cover text messages.
1. Who we are
The service is run by Snappy Coin Laundry, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("Snappy," "we," "us"), at 2303 McKelvey Rd, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
2. Who can book
- Your address has to be in our service area. The booking page checks your address and tells you right away. If we don't serve your address yet, you can leave your email and we'll let you know if that changes.
- You need a US mobile number that can receive a text. We text it a one-time code to confirm it's yours. That code only verifies your number; it doesn't sign you up for text updates.
- You need an email address. Email is how we send your confirmation, receipt, and delivery notice, whether or not you choose texts.
- You need a payment card. We keep a card on file through Square and charge it after we've counted your bags (section 6).
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
You can also book by calling us. The same terms apply, and we'll text or email you a link to add a card.
3. Booking
Two kinds of pickup. When you book you choose:
- Leave it out. A morning pickup (bags out by 8:00 AM) or an afternoon pickup (bags out by 12:00 PM). We'll send you the driver's arrival time before the driver heads out that day.
- Hand it to the driver. A two-hour window: 8–10 AM, 10 AM–12 PM, 12–2 PM, or 2–4 PM. Spots are limited.
Capacity. We take a limited number of pickups each day. A full day or window shows as sold out. If a spot fills while you're booking, we show you what's still open.
Booking close. Booking a pickup for tomorrow closes at 8:00 PM Central. After that, the earliest pickup is the day after tomorrow.
How far ahead. The calendar shows the days you can book — currently about 2 weeks out.
Delivery day. Your clean laundry comes back in the afternoon of the next service day after your pickup, unless you choose a later day when you book.
The price you see is the price you get. The per-bag price shown when you book is the price for that order, even if our price changes later. If the price changes while you're still booking, we ask you to confirm the new price before you finish.
Nothing is charged when you book. See section 6.
4. Pickup day
Leave-it-out pickups. Put your bags at the spot you gave us by the out-by time. We send you the driver's arrival time before they head out and a heads-up about 15 minutes before they arrive. Our driver makes sure each bag is tagged, takes a photo of the bags with their tags, and marks the pickup complete. That photo is our record of what we picked up and our evidence for the bag count.
Hand-to-driver pickups. Please have your laundry ready. The driver can wait up to 5 minutes.
Missed pickups. If your bags aren't out, or no one is there to hand them over, there's no charge. We text or email you a one-tap link to rebook; the next available day is pre-selected, and your delivery day moves with your pickup. The link works for 7 days and can be used once. A rebooked pickup takes a normal spot in our schedule.
Gate or door codes you give us are shared with the driver only for your stops.
5. What counts as a bag
We price by the bag. Here's how we count:
- Snappy bag or 13-gallon kitchen bag counts as 1
- 30-gallon bag counts as 2
- Contractor bag counts as 3
- A bag that won't close on its own counts as 1 extra
The counting rules shown when you book are the ones that apply to that order.
In practice:
- Bulky items — comforters, blankets, rugs — are counted the same way. Inside a bag, they're part of that bag. There's no separate bulky-item charge.
- Laundry handed over loose goes into a bag before we count it — by our driver at the curb, or at our facility — and counts as the 13-gallon bags it fills. A single stray item just goes into one of your bags.
- A bag that won't close counts as one extra.
- The bag count you enter when you book is an estimate to help us plan. You're charged for the bags we count at our facility — not for that number. If your count changes before pickup, just reply to your confirmation.
6. Price and payment
Price. Our price is currently $30.00 per bag, and the per-bag price shown when you book is the one that applies to your order. Every order is at least one bag, and that's the only minimum. There's no delivery fee and no tax added: bags × the per-bag price is the whole charge.
When we charge. We charge your card after your bags reach our facility, where we count them against the driver's photo. We charge on the count. We may also weigh your laundry for our records; weight never changes the price.
Counting. If we count more bags than the driver's photo shows, the person charging your order records why, and that record stays with your order. Questions about your count? Call us at (314) 628-1001 and we'll look at the photo with you. If we counted wrong, we correct it with a refund. We never add to a charge after your receipt without talking to you first.
Receipt. You get a receipt by email — and by text if you've opted in — showing the bag count, the per-bag price, the total, the last four digits of the card charged, and your delivery date.
Your card. Your card is stored and charged through Square. We don't place a hold when you book. If you have more than one card with us, we charge the one you added most recently. How card information is handled is in our Privacy Policy.
If the charge doesn't go through. Your laundry is safe and we keep cleaning it. We send you a link to update your card. We may hold your delivery until payment goes through; if it hasn't by delivery time, your delivery may move to the next service day. Each reminder carries a fresh link; a link works for 7 days or until the payment is resolved.
Refunds. A refund goes back to the card that was charged and never exceeds what you paid for that order.
7. Tips
Tips are optional. Your delivery message includes a link to leave a tip for the Snappy team. A tip is charged to your card on file, from $1.00 to $100.00, and we send you a receipt. The link works for 30 days and can be used once — we ask once per order. If a tip went through by mistake, call us — tips can be refunded.
8. Changing or cancelling
To change or cancel, call us at (314) 628-1001. There's no self-service change or cancel button; our team makes the change while you're on the phone, and the call is your confirmation.
- Moving a pickup. We can move your pickup to another open day or window. After 8:00 PM, tomorrow is closed to changes just as it's closed to new bookings. A same-day change of window is possible until the driver's route for that window is set.
- Moving a delivery. We can move your delivery to a later open day. A delivery can't be moved to today.
- Cancelling before pickup. Free — nothing has been charged.
- Cancelling after pickup. Once we have your laundry, you can cancel delivery and pick it up at the laundromat instead. If we haven't charged you yet, there's no charge. If we've already counted your bags and charged you, the charge stands — the work is underway. We hold your laundry as described in section 9.
The one-tap rebook link you get after a missed pickup (section 4) is the only self-service change.
9. Delivery
Where and when. We deliver in the afternoon. When your delivery heads out, we send you the driver's estimated arrival time and a tracking link. We leave your laundry at the spot you chose and take a photo of it there.
Your delivery photo. Your delivery message links to a page showing your first name, your pickup and delivery dates, your order status, and the delivery photo. That page works until 7 days after your delivery day.
If we can't deliver. If the driver can't complete your delivery, we tell you why and try again in the afternoon of the next service day. You can also arrange to pick up at the laundromat.
Holding your laundry. If the second delivery attempt also fails, we stop delivering and hold your laundry at the laundromat. We also hold it there if you cancel delivery to pick it up yourself (section 8). We hold it for 30 days, contact you at least twice during that time, and charge nothing for storage. Laundry that isn't picked up within 30 days may be donated.
10. When we have to move your order
- We have to move your delivery on the day. If, on your delivery day, your laundry isn't ready, or we can't get it to you for a reason on our side — the route can't fit it, or a vehicle, driver, or weather problem — we move delivery to the next service day, tell you, and take $5 off. The $5 comes back to your card as a refund.
- We can't fit a pickup, or we change a delivery's plan the evening before. A person from Snappy contacts you by email or phone, or by text if you've opted in, and moves it to another open day. There's no credit for these moves.
- Your card didn't go through. We may move delivery to the next service day and send you a link to update your card. No credit applies.
- A payment problem on our side. If a charge fails because of a technical problem on our end, we tell you the new delivery date and sort out the payment ourselves.
A change you ask for yourself isn't one of these and doesn't come with a credit.
11. How we clean, and what we can't take
We wash, dry, and fold your laundry using the detergent, softener, and dryer heat you chose for your order. We read the note you leave for our wash team and follow it where we reasonably can. We don't dry clean or iron, and we can't promise every stain will come out.
We don't check care labels item by item, and everything in your order is dried on the heat you chose. If something needs gentler care, choose a lower heat or leave it out.
Please don't send us:
- anything soaked with gasoline, oil, or chemicals, or anything else flammable or hazardous;
- items soiled with blood, vomit, or feces;
- needles or other sharp objects;
- cash, jewelry, electronics, keys, documents, or anything else valuable or irreplaceable;
- dry-clean-only items, items labeled do not wash, or leather, suede, or fur.
If we find something on that list:
- Hazardous or soiled items and sharp objects aren't washed. We seal them and send them back unwashed, or dispose of them if they aren't safe to keep or carry, and we let you know either way.
- Dry-clean-only, do-not-wash, leather, suede, and fur items that we notice come back unwashed. Ones we don't notice are washed and dried with the rest of your order, at your risk.
- Valuables we find come back to you.
Wet or mildewed items are fine to send. We'll wash them, but we can't promise the smell or stains will come out.
You pay only for bags we wash. A bag counts if we wash anything in it. If we send a whole bag back unwashed, you don't pay for it — and if we've already charged for it, we refund it.
Please check pockets before you bag up.
12. Lost or damaged items
When we're responsible. We're responsible for your laundry from the time our driver picks it up and photographs it until we leave it at the delivery spot you chose and photograph it there. Before pickup and after delivery, it's in your care, and we aren't responsible if it's lost, stolen, or damaged then.
Tell us within 7 days. If something is missing, or was damaged while we had it, call us at (314) 628-1001 within 7 days after your delivery day. We'll go through the pickup and delivery photos with you; they're our record of what we received and what we returned.
What we do. For a cleaning problem, we re-clean the item at no charge. For an item we lost or damaged, we pay its reasonable value: what it would cost to replace, less wear.
Our limits. We pay no more than $25 for any one item, and no more than $150 for each bag we picked up, counted as in section 5 (using our pickup photo for a bag that never reached our facility).
What we don't cover. Items listed in section 11; damage caused by anything left in a pocket; and shrinking, fading, or other wear from washing and drying on your order's settings.
These limits and exclusions apply even if the loss or damage was caused by our negligence or other fault. They don't apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
13. Snappy bags
Your clean laundry comes back in new Snappy bags. Some items, including very large items, may come back as a separate tagged bundle.
Each Snappy bag carries a card with a code in its clear pocket, and we write your name on the pocket so our driver can match your bags at your door.
Scanning the code opens our booking page so you can book your next pickup in a few taps. The code on its own unlocks nothing — scanned on someone else's phone, it shows none of your information. You still verify your phone with a code, unless your device already remembers you (section 15).
Reusing the bag. Put your laundry back in your Snappy bags for your next pickup — it's the easiest way for us to recognize your order. If you hand us a Snappy bag that came from someone else's order, we simply link it to you.
The bag is yours to keep. There's no charge if it's lost or not returned.
14. Texts, emails, and reviews
- Email is required and always carries your booking confirmation, your receipt, and your delivery notice.
- Texts are optional. You can choose text updates with a separate checkbox when you book online or, if you book by calling us, by saying yes when we ask. Leaving the box unchecked, or saying no, doesn't affect your booking — everything then comes by email. Agreeing to these terms is not consent to texts. How texts work, and how to stop them, is in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
- Replying works. Reply to our text or email and a person reads it. Our team may also contact you about your order — by text only if you've opted in.
- No marketing texts, and no review requests by text. After you leave a tip, the thank-you page may show a link to leave us a Google review — that's the only place we ask.
How we handle your information — including your phone number, photos, and messaging records — is in our Privacy Policy.
15. Cookies and your device
After you book, the booking site may remember your device so you can skip the code next time, as long as your address and card haven't changed. Tap "Not you?" to clear it. Our websites also use analytics and advertising cookies. Details, and how to opt out, are in our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here when you book is the one that applies to that order.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
If you have a problem with an order, please call us first — most things are fixed with one conversation. If we can't resolve it, any lawsuit about these terms or our service must be brought in the courts located in St. Louis County, Missouri, including small claims court.
